Family Therapy

Family therapy is a form of psychotherapy that aims to improve communication and resolve conflicts within family relationships. In family therapy, our trained therapist will with the entire family unit rather than focusing solely on individual members. The goal is to help family members understand each other’s perspectives, address underlying issues, and develop healthier ways of interacting and functioning as a family.

Stacey brings a warm, empathetic style to her practice, offering tailored communication that resonates with individuals of all ages, particularly children, adolescents, and their families. Currently working as a mental health clinician in Melbourne, Stacey provides crucial mental health assessments and therapy.
Her collaborative efforts span working closely with schools and parents, providing psychoeducation on diagnoses and brain development, and supporting students‘ mental well-being. Stacey offers bilingual counseling, an indispensable service that makes mental health access more inclusive for non-native English-speaking families.

Stacey adopts a combination of various treatment modalities such as psychodynamic therapy, Mindfulness, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT). She consciously avoids any clinical jargon in her psychoeducation with clients, opting for client-centered and empowering approaches that resonate more personally with those she serves.
